Richter Pass Beach Resort Osoyoos, Osoyoos

I had mixed feelings about my stay at this resort. The location is absolutely unbeatable, right on the beach, which made for beautiful mornings and evenings. However, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of our apartment, as it had noticeable mildew and dust in places that really should have been addressed. Additionally, the service I encountered when trying to book was quite frustrating, despite my initial excitement about the place.

The hotel is situated in an excellent location, just steps from a beautiful sandy beach, which is definitely a highlight. The management team is very accommodating and personable, making for a pleasant stay. However, the rooms are on the smaller side and could use some updates, as the property is older. Despite this, everything was kept clean, and I appreciated the beach access and the food prep area.

My stay was quite disappointing due to the filth and neglect of the facilities. Despite having direct beach access, the overall condition of the room and the surrounding areas left much to be desired. The room was dirty, cramped, and poorly maintained, making it hard to enjoy the stay. On the bright side, having a beach right outside was a major plus, but the lack of basic cleanliness overshadowed that experience.

I had a wonderful stay at this motel, which we have been returning to for over 12 years. The staff is incredibly kind, especially Peter, who keeps everything clean and tidy. The location by the lake is fantastic, and while the room was refreshed and well-stocked, the old air-conditioner was loud and the windows needed a thorough cleaning. Overall, despite some issues, the friendly atmosphere and consistent hospitality make it a place I would recommend, especially to those who value great customer service.
